This morning we pushed out our latest recommendation screen. You’ll notice the 2D and 3D views of the shoes are now encapsulated in a rectangle to help set off the size recommendation from the fitting tools. All the credit goes to Andrea Irwin, one of our wonderful designers.

This is something like our 10th version of the screen, and it has been a wonderful exercise in user testing and design iteration. We’ve found that some people simply want to be told what size to buy, while others really enjoy playing with the sizing tools so that they can make a decision themselves. We’ve worked really hard to come up with a solution that works for both groups.
